Elizabeth & Jameson

Hannah Elizabeth and Griff Jameson are a well established accoustic folk-roots duo. Tonight's performance is part of their tour to promote their recently released second album 'Way Out West'.

Hannah’s influences are firmly planted in traditional folk-roots, whilst in contrast Griff has formed his musical reputation within folk pop/rock genres. Together, Elizabeth & Jameson arguably offer the best of both backgrounds; this is simplistic, classic song writing at its best - a stripped back harmony-driven sound with acoustic guitar, violin and exquisite vocals.

As well as securing high-profile support slots on the UK folk-roots circuit, the duo have built up a strong following after spending the last few years touring folk and acoustic clubs and venues across the UK. Their debut studio album, 'Northern Shores & Stories' was officially released in 2020 and has been receiving critical acclaim across the acoustic folk-roots community.

Tom Arbin

Our support act for the evening is Tom Arbin, a young local solo singer-songwriter. An accomplished guitar player and multi instrumentalist on the drums and piano, creating his own original songs and enjoys performing them live as often as possible. Highlights to date include entering a competition at the New Noise stage at the Royal Norfolk Show, reaching a personal record number of streams on Spotify for the song release Overflow, putting on his first Solo Showcase at Banham Barrel and hearing his original music played on BBC introducing and on Future Radio Norwich this year.

Tom is very much looking forward to the future, and starting his next chapter at Access Creative College this September. He has been very much inspired by Ed Sheeran, and especially how grounded as a famous artist he has remained. Influences are drawn from some of his favourite artists such as Bob Dylan, Sam Fender, and David Bowie to name only a few.

Refreshments

Please note that the Hall does not have a licence to serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own refreshments. We aim to serve tea, coffee, soft drinks and (hopefully) some home-made cakes!

Parking

The Hall has sufficint parking for about thirty vehicles. If the Hall car park is full additional roadside parking is available on the Old Turnpike, opposite the Hall, but please ensure that you park on the Church side of the road. Please do not attempt to park on Wood Lane or Church Lane as they are too narrow.
