The Parish Council has the overall responsibility for the well - being of our local community. Their work falls into three main categories - representing the local community, delivering services to meet local needs and striving to improve the quality of life in the Parish
There are nine seats on the council (plus the salaried position of Clerk to the Council). Councillors are elected every four years.
The next elections will be held in May, 2019.
The Council meets on the first Monday of each month at Bunwell Village Hall, except in August. All meetings are open to the public. Meetings generally begin at 7.30pm and run to an agenda. Members of the public are invited to attend, with a public forum early in the proceedings, at which the public may raise any issues.
Notice for these meetings is given in the Parish Newsletter, Parish Magazine, this website, and placed on the notice boards the Village Stores, Village Hall, Bunwell Hill and Low Common.
