£50k pot for community projects

Are you a community group looking for funding? South Norfolk Council has Community Action Fund grants available from £1,000-£15,000 to support projects and initiatives that benefit local people.

 Last year the Council funded a range of projects including play equipment at Breckland Park in Costessey, an automatic watering system at Wortwell Bowls Club and a trailer for Norfolk Knights Wheelchair Rugby Team.

 If you would like to apply for funding, please contact your local district councillor, who will apply to the Community Action Fund for you. 

The next Community Action Fund panel will be held on Thursday 31 May.

Traveller Encampment on Playing Field

UPDATE - THE TRAVELLERS HAVE NOW LEFT

As you may be aware following Saturdays successful Bunfest a number of travellers have taken up residence on the village playing field. This matter has been reported to the District Council and they are following the Unauthorised Encampments Protocol to ensure the encampment is moved on at the earliest opportunity.

 For any Village Hall users who have concerns about using the during this time please contact Village Hall Bookings
