Bunwell Bunnies Playgroup - Latest

For more photographs please see "Bunnies Playgroup" in "Clubs and Groups" in main menu.

The Bunwell Bunnies are back to business, all refreshed after a lovely holiday and ready for action once more.
We have already welcomed in some new 'Bunnies' who are settling in happily to the sessions. The returning ' Bunnies' have all grown over the holidays and were pleased to get busy painting, building, dressing up and all sorts of other activities.
This term we are focussing on 'AUTUMN and the HARVEST' We have begun by looking at,touching, opening ears of wheat. We talked about how the wheat is harvested and turned into flour. We then used flour to make our very own bread. The children took home  bread rolls that they made and our loaf of bread was enjoyed by the children in the session who buttered and spread jam on all by themselves! We also had a role play 'Bakers shop' in which the children developed some interesting dough designs.
