The next meeting of Bunwell Parish Council scheduled for 6th July 2015 has been brought forward to Monday 29th June 2015 at 7.30 pm in Bunwell Village Hall.
Are you sure your Parish Councillors’ represent your views? Currently, Bunwell Parish Council does not have sufficient people coming forward to stand for election as a Parish Councillor. You as a community deserve the right to vote for those that represent you. The Parish Council will have nine vacancies for Parish Councillors’, it is likely to have only three nominated candidates, to require an election ten nominated candidates are necessary. If this is the case at the time of the election, on 7th May, your Councillor’s will be elected unopposed or ‘co-opted’ onto the Parish Council. Why not become a Councillor yourself and make sure your views are heard?
With a budget of £12,400 you really do have an opportunity to help shape the future of your village.

We were hoping that Cabinet 1 would be live by now but unfortunately the cabinet was seriously vandalised and made unusable. With the resulting hold up from crime reports we are now being told that estimated go live is likely to be December.
Therefore the current status of the installation of Superfast broadband installation on cabinets which serve Bunwell is:-
Exchange - Bunwell Street
There are plans to install a new cabinet next to the exchange to support Superfast broadband current timescales are end of 2015
Cabinet 1 - The Turnpike
Cabinet vandalised. This is now expected to be available the December
Cabinet 3 - Wymondham Rd
