Bunwell is a large parish in Norfolk, situated 6/7 miles from the market towns of Attleborough & Wymondham.  It extends across 5 miles of agricultural countryside and encompasses the hamlets of Great Green, Little Green, Bunwell Hill and Low Common.

Situated at the heart of South Norfolk and consisting of several medieval hamlets, Bunwell is a working environment with safe and peaceful areas to live and work.

Here's the Bunwell entry in Wikipaedia, the online encyclopaedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunwell:

Bunwell is a parish (population 885[1]) ......... The parish includes the hamlets of Bunwell Hill, Bunwell Street, Great Green, Little Green and Low Common. Often overlooked as visitors head for quaint New Buckenham, this oddly widespread community is centred on a church, primary school, village hall and homes of mixed heritage - although some clearly date from Shakespearean times. Most residents commute to the city of Norwich or town of Diss.

The recreation ground used to have a impressive slide ......... . The recreation ground is home to Bunwell FC, winners of the South Norfolk league division 3 in 2008, during the winter months and Bunwell Cricket Club in the summer. Three members of the band 'Mona McNee's Love Children', who played around Norwich in the 90's, came from the village.

The Bunwell Heritage Group www.bunwellhistory.co.uk is currently researching and writing a comprehensive history of the parish. Their findings are being published in the form of self-contained essays on the internet.[2]
